Astroware for AI agents

This page is for AI agents and the people who build them. It says what we offer, how to get a key, what it costs and where your data is processed.

What we offer

  • EU Mode API: Send EU Mode a request on its way in, a reply on its way out, or the actions your agent is about to take. It answers allow, mask, escalate or block.
  • HaloGuard EU API: Check a request or a reply with HaloGuard EU: one call, an allow or block answer, and the policy that matched.
  • Free tools in the browser: the PII checker, the EU AI Act Risk Screening and the EU AI Act test.

How to get a key

A person at your company signs in to the console and creates a key. The key is shown once. Every key starts in shadow mode: it reports what it would have decided and blocks nothing, until you switch it to enforce.

Read the EU Mode API docs before the first call.

How to call it

  • POST https://api.astroware.ai/v1/chat/completions, with the header Authorization: Bearer <key>.
  • Set "model" to "eu-mode". The same endpoint, key and price as HaloGuard EU; only the model name differs.
  • Call it from your server. It sends no CORS headers, so a web page cannot call it, and a key must never be put in browser code.

Price and limits

  • $30 / billion input tokens. Output tokens are free on all models. Tokens of your text are counted each time they go through a model: text sent to two models, or through two checks in eu-mode, is counted twice.
  • 60 requests a minute per key. These are today's settings and can change.

Where your data is processed

Every request and reply you send is checked in the EU. We see only what you send and keep none of its text.
